By Anita Moorjani
In her
inspirational memoir Dying to be Me,
author Anita Moorjani writes from the heart, her truth as she experienced it.
She reflects on her sensitivity of society’s influence(s) she felt required to
adapt to before her NDE. This is not an
unfamiliar feeling among us. The distinction is the awareness that we are all
one. Anita insightfully shares how this mindfulness can indeed be part of our
everyday existence.
I
particularly enjoyed her ability to distinguish the discord of decision-making concerning
love and fear. She further clarifies that we must live, decide and be from a state
of love not fear. Not necessarily a new concept, but her insights from
experience are exquisitely shared.
This
was the most authentic memoir I have had the pleasure to read so far regarding this
fascinating topic; further inspiring me to live authentically. She invites the
reader to see, feel and relive her vulnerabilities before and after her
understandings from the other realm.
This
book certainly solidified for me the importance of understanding that we are
spiritual beings having a human experience. Thus continuing to allow the former
to fuse with the latter resulting in a fully engaged and purposeful experience
we call life.
